New England Swimming Note: The Top Ten Banquet is full. (10/19) Reservations Form (Adobe PDF) TOP TEN BANQUET: All Top Ten Swimmers for both Long Course and Short Course are invited to attend the Top Ten Banquet at Lenzi's (formerly The Mill House) 810 Merrimack Avenue (Route 110), Dracut , MA on Sunday, October 24, 2004 . The cost is $17.50 per person. Those swimmers who are listed as OUTSTANDING SWIMMERS for either long course or short course and members of the Top Ten Committee are invited to be the guests of New England Swimming. All who plan to attend, INCLUDING OUTSTANDING SWIMMERS, must make reservations by Thursday, October 14, 2004 . The doors will open at 10:30 am , and the meal will be served at 11:30 am , followed by the awards and the speaker, ERIK VENDT, long-time New England Swimmer and 2004 Olympic Silver Medalist. IMPORTANT RESERVATION NOTE: Since the office will be closed October 15 through October 17, please do not leave a message about a late reservation either on the answering machine or email. Those reservations will not be accepted. Please call on Monday, October 18 after 7:30 pm. If there is room, your reservation will be accepted at that time. TOP TEN TIMES: This year the Top Ten Times were compiled using The USA Swimming SWIMS program. SWIMS includes the results of all sanctioned meets that have been submitted to USA Swimming, New England Swimming or any other LSC. Observed times (college meets, high school meets, etc.) have been eliminated. Since the 8 and under age group is not included in SWIMS, those times were compiled by hand. Top Ten Times run from September 1 through August 31. OUTSTANDING SWIMMERS are those who have accumulated the most points through their top ten standings. The scoring is as follows: 12 points for first place in an event, 9 points for second place, 8 points for third place, down to 1 point for tenth place. TOP TEN BOOKS will be sent to all New England teams as soon as they are ready. Books will be available for purchase at the banquet for $2.50 for each season or by mail for $3.00 each, including postage. DIRECTIONS: Lenzi’s (formerly The Mill
