LOCATION:     LINCOLN HANCOCK COMMUNITY SCHOOL, 300 GRANITE ST., QUINCY, MA.  25 yard, 6 lane pool.  Lanes are 7' wide with non-turbulent lane lines.  4' depth at the shallow end and 12' depth at the deep end with Whitten gutters.  Colorado electronic timing system with touch pads and scoreboard for all events (including 25 yard events).  Starting blocks at both ends of the pool.  A large spectator area with seating for 280 people.

ENTRIES:     Entry information must be completed and received by 5:00PM on Friday, November 16, 2001. Entries will be accepted on and after October 12, 2001.  Any entry received prior to October 12, 2001 will be considered received on October 12, 2001.  NO SEED CARDS NEEDED.  Meet will be computer seeded.  Fees must accompany entries.  There will be no refunds and no post entries or telephone entries accepted.  Entry fees are $2.50 per individual  event. Entries using Hytek or LSA in sd3 or cl2 format are required to avoid a .50 per event surcharge for hand entries (please include hard copy of entry along with disk) or email entry to SoShoreYStrypers@aol.com with hard copy and payment received within 7 days.  Please make checks payable to 'YSS SWIM TEAM' and mail with entry to:                MS. ELIGIBILITY:     All swimmers must be 2001 registered swimmers with U.S. Swimming.  Age and registration number must appear on the entry.  Swimmers may register by mailing registration forms to:  NEW ENGLAND SWIMMING, 20 Cleveland Rd., Needham, MA  02192

ENTRY LIMITATIONS:  If entry limitations are necessary due to oversubscription cuts will be by date of receipt.  There will be no refunds for accepted entries unless the meet is oversubscribed.

AWARDS:   Ribbons  1st through 6th place.

ADMISSIONS:  $1.00 per session  -  Program $2.00 per session  -  Results $5.00 Entire Meet

REFRESHMENTS:   Refreshments will be available at all sessions for a reasonable price.

DIRECTIONS to the Lincoln Hancock Community School - Take Southeast Expressway (Rte. 93) Exit 8 (Furnace Brook Parkway exit; the first exit after Rte. 128 heading north on Rte. 3, or the last exit on the Southeast Expressway before Rte. 128 heading south).  Follow signs to Quincy Center on Furnace Brook Parkway.  Take a right at the first set of lights (onto Copeland St.,) bear left at the fork and follow through two sets of lights, the school is straight ahead about 1000 yards on the left, opposite the baseball park.  The pool area is easily accessed by the Water St., entrance of the school.

FORMAT:  ALL EVENTS WILL BE TIMED FINALS.  A 'NT' will not be accepted.  A "coach's time" is better the a 'NT' because the length of each session will be estimated from entry times.  All entry times must be in yard times or times converted to yard times.

FOOD:  The Concession stand will be open from 7:30 AM to 4:30PM

 RULES:     2001 U. S. Swimming rules will govern all competition, and all decisions by the Meet Referee will be final unless a written protest is lodged within thirty (30) minutes of the swim heat being protested.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS:  There will be no shaving in the showers or elsewhere in the swimming venue.  There will be absolutely no diving in any part of the pool during warm-up, except in sprint lanes designated by the meet referee.  Any swimmer participating in the meet without a USS registered coach shall report to the referee before warm up prior to each session.

COACHES:  All coaches should check in with the clerk of course upon arrival at the pool to pick up the Coach's packet.  Coaches will be supplied with scratch sheets which must be filed 20 minutes before the start of each session.  Please remind your swimmers there is to be absolutely no wandering around the premises.  No food or beverages are permitted anywhere in the pool area, locker rooms or gym.  South Shore Strypers and the Lincoln Hancock Community School assume no responsibility for lost or stolen property.  Your cooperation in respecting the use of the Lincoln Hancock Community School facility is required and appreciated.

PARKING:  Parking is available in the Lincoln Hancock Community School parking lot and on public streets where permitted.  Improperly parked cars will be towed at the owner's expense.

TIMERS:  Volunteers are needed for each session and their services will be appreciated.
