Officials Clinics

Note to recertifying officials: Please bring your blue cards and current USA Swimming membership card to all clinics.

Note to new official candidates: Please note that no New England Swimming Official credentials, Blue Cards, will be issued unless you are registered as a member of New England Swimming, attend a clinic and complete the Timer and, Stroke and Turn open-rulebook exams.

There is a Non-athlete Membership Application and $55 fee. Your swim team will benefit from your volunteer efforts as an official. As a result some teams may offer to pay for all or some of your membership fee. It is worthwhile to ask your club manager. If possible we encourage you to register as a member in advance of your clinic. You may either download a Non-athlete Membership Application (Adobe PDF) online, or or request one be mailed to you by contacting Mary Riddell (office@neswim.com, 781-449-0270) at the New England Swimming office.

If you have received your membership card prior to the clinic, please bring it to the clinic. If your membership application is in process and you have not received your membership card, please tell your Clinic Facilitator. If you have not started the process you will be required to fill out an application as the first step at the clinic. Please bring a personal check for $55 made out to New England Swimming (preferred) or cash.
