FACILITY:
MEET FORMAT:
The meet will be swum as timed finals on Friday and Sunday and prelims and
finals on Saturday for the Open and timed finals for all sessions for the12
& under age group. Finals for the Open will include a bonus, consolation
and final heat with the exception of all Friday and Sunday events, which are,
timed finals. Open events will require
all entry times to have a minimum Time Standard 15-16 ‘A’ 2005-2008 USA
Swimming Motivational Times. 12 &
Under sessions will not have cut times. Continuous warm-up warm-down will be
available in two lanes during the open session with the exception of the 1650. Warm-Up Warm-Down lanes will be sectioned off
from the six competition lanes with an additional lane line. Each session will be seeded by computer. The
scratch deadline will be 30 minutes before the start of each session. Heat and lane assignments will be posted around
the pool deck and handed out to coaches prior to each session. Coaches are
responsible for ensuring their swimmers are in the correct heat and lane. The
1650 freestyle will be swum fastest to slowest, alternating heats of women and
men. The top eight seeded Open relays will be swum during finals on Saturday
all other Open relays will be swum fastest to slowest at the end of prelims or
timed final sessions.
ELIGIBILITY:
All contestants must be 2006 or 2007 USA Swimming registered athletes. All
swimmers must be registered before the entry is submitted. Teams that
enter unregistered swimmers will be subject to a fine of $100 per unregistered
swimmer.
ENTRY INFORMATION:
Entries will be accepted on and after October 06, 2006.
Entries received before October 06, 2006 will be considered received on October
06, 2006. Entries must be received no later
than
Monday, October 23, 2006.
Make checks payable to “C & C Swimming, Inc.”. Mail completed forms
(including signed entry cover page and waiver) and payment to the entry

Event Limits: Athletes
may swim in a maximum of 5 events per day for 10 & under, 11-12 and
Open Friday and Sunday Timed Finals, excluding relays. *** Saturday Open
Prelims and Finals are limited to 3 events per day, excluding relays***.
The meet director reserves the right to limit the number of heats in order to
satisfy the meet timeline.

Electronic entries (such as from Hy-Tek Team Manager or other team
management software) that are in CL2 or SD3/SDIF format may be emailed as an
attachment to the entry chairperson at abfswimsccc@yahoo.com.
Please check that your team name, address, and contact information are listed
correctly in this file. For email entries, payment and hardcopy of the
entry (including signed entry cover page and waiver) must be received within
four (4) days, excluding Sundays and holidays, of receipt of the email entry.
If payment is received within four (4) days, excluding Sundays and holidays, of
the email entry, the email receipt date will be considered the date of
entry. If payment is received more than four (4) days, excluding Sundays
and holidays, after the email entry, the payment receipt date will be
considered the date of entry.

Entry Times: Open session’s entry times must meet the Short Course Yard (SCY) ‘A’ 2005-2008 15-16 USA Swimming Motivational Times. 1650FR time standard will not apply but the event will be limited to an hour and half filled from fastest to slowest. Converted times are accepted as meeting the qualifying entry time. 12 & Under sessions session will have no cut times. All entries must be specified in short course yards (SCY) times. All meter times must be converted to yard times. Entries with “NO TIME” will be rejected.
Entry Cuts: Entry cuts, if necessary, will be made by the date of receipt. Teams will be notified that they have been accepted or cut from the meet within seven days of receipt of entry. In accordance to new, New England Swimming policy we will reserve 75% of the swims for Teams in or out of district with whom we choose. If on the first day of acceptance the remaining 25% of swims become oversubscribed, a lottery will be conducted by the New England Swimming Office to fill the meet. Teams that are cut from the meet will have their entry fee returned within four days of being cut.
**** 1650 Freestyle session on Sunday October 29, 2006 will be limited to an hour and half filled from fastest to slowest. Time standards do not apply to this event. ****
RELAYS: There is no team limit on the number of relays that may be entered. The top eight seeded OPEN relays will be swum during finals on Saturday all other OPEN relays will be swum fastest to slowest at the end of prelims or timed final sessions.
RULES: 2006 US Swimming rules will govern all competition and the decisions of the referee will be final unless a written protest is lodged within 30 minutes of the swim heat being protested. Disabled swimmer forms are required by US Swimming and are available from the New England Swimming office.
OFFICIALS AND TIMERS: All teams are asked to provide volunteer officials and timers. Distance events on Friday, Saturday and Sundays 400IM, 500FR, 1650FR are required to provide their own timers and counters. Please include with your entry a list of your team’s eligible officials, their phone numbers, and the session(s) they are available to work. The Referee for this meet will be Paul Maker, and officials are encouraged to contact Paul at (508) 384-8480 or email at makerp@fcl-us.net before the meet.
SAFETY AND IMPORTANT RULES TO NOTE: Diving will be
prohibited during warm-ups except in specifically announced one-way sprint
lanes. There will be no diving in the warm up and warm down areas at any
time. No shaving is permitted at or

AWARDS: Ribbons are awarded for the first 8 places in the individual events for 12 & Under age groups only. Relay are awarded for the top 3 places in the 12 & Under age groups only.
ADMISSION & PROGRAMS:
Admission: $1.00 per session
Programs: $2.00 for each session
CONCESSIONS: Refreshments will be available.
EQUIPMENT VENDOR: Equipment vendor will be selling suits, goggles, and other accessories for Saturday and Sunday of the meet.
