Dear Swim Meet Participants,

We are looking forward to a great weekend of competition and sportsmanship at the YMCA of the North Shore Sterling Pool. The Y is open for non-meet activities and we ask for your cooperation with a few items.

Parking: You can park in the 2 upper lots. The lower lot is reserved for non-swim meet participants who will be using the Sterling Y. We have reserved two overflow lots at local elementary schools and have hired two 18 passenger busses to transport you to and from these lots. Parking attendants will be on duty and will give you directions to the off-site lots and secure the lower lot. We ask that you come to the Y for warm up at the posted times in order to clear the parking lots at the Y after the morning session. Carpooling will significantly help the parking situation go more smoothly.

Viewing Area: The studios on the second floor (at the entrance to the stands) can not be used during the meet. These rooms need to remain free for classes that are normally held in them. Also, the door from the stands to the hallway must not be propped open. The humidity from the pool disrupts the sensors for the rest of the building. The lobby and gym will remain cool. There are also shady areas outside as well.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us.

Thank you
