CATCH the SPIRIT CAMPS 2006

The Catch the Spirit Camp program is sponsored by U.S.A. Swimming and is designed as a combination of education sessions, social opportunities and water activities. The camp will take place at Wellesley College in Wellesley, Massachusetts and be available for New England Swimming registered swimmers ages 9 through 12. This will be a Level I & II camp focusing on creating a learning environment for experienced competitive swimmers. The camp will include two water sessions and several team meetings including topics such as sportsmanship, nutrition, goal setting, time management, basic biomechanics and USA Swimming history.  The cost of the one-day camp is $25.00 (make check payable to: NE Swimming). The camp registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. and will conclude by 4:45 p.m. There will also be a “Parents’ Clinic” held from 8:45 a.m. to approximately 1:00 p.m. Take this opportunity to learn more about USA Swimming and being a supportive swim parent!

The head coach is Laura Matuszak (GMA), who is also New England Swimming’s Age Group Chairman. Assistant coaches are Greg Gillette (ABF), Keri Cunningham (RAMS) and Dave Bott (WBD).
