The Annual Meeting of New England Swimming will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2002 at the Wellesley Community Center, Wellesley, MA. Please encourage your team to be well represented. Each team and each board Member has one vote, but all others are encouraged to attend.

Agenda:

9:00: Coffee and Registration

9:30: General Meeting, Budget, Election of Officers

11:30: Meet Manager's Meeting, Meet Data Management. Teams running a meet (or planning to run a meet) during the next year are required to send a representative to the Meet Manager's Meeting.

11:30: Stroke and Turn Recertification, Starter's Certification. Contact Pam Warner to register (781-749-2526 or pmw2@hotmail.com).

11:30: Clinic for existing referees and facilitators led by Dottie Daniels. Contact Bill Geary if you plan to attend (wcg@nutter.com)

11:30: Coaches' Meeting and election of new Junior Representative

1:15: Coaches' Clinic with a presentation given by Jim Giroux from Perform Better (MF Athletic Company). This will be a "hands-on: session combining a lecture and participation on the part of the coaches to show ways to improve strength, conditioning, flexibility and some rehab techniques.

This Slate of Officers will be elected at the Annual Meeting. Nominations from the floor will be accepted. The Coaches will elect their representative at the Coaches Meeting following the Annual Meeting.

DIRECTIONS TO THE WELLESLEY COMMUNITY CENTER
219 Washington Street (Route 16), Wellesley, MA.

From Route 128: Take Route 9 west After the second set of lights, turn right at the blinker (the sign says Route 16). At the light at the end of the ramp, stay to the right and cross Route 16 into the parking lot. Be careful, cars on Route 16 are not necessarily expecting you!)

From the west: Take Route 9 east. Exit at Wellesley Hills, Route 16. At the lights at the end of the ramp, turn left, cross back over Route 9 and turn left into the driveway which is just beyond the ramp to Route 9.
